After losing our beloved cocker spaniel, Jake, some months earlier; it was time to look to the future and introduce new members of the family. This was our second visit to the dog breeder to check on the progress of our two chosen cocker spaniel puppies Harry & Henry.
Another great holiday in the sun in Florida, and a chance to revisit Kermitt Weeks’ Fantasy of Flight and Warbird Adventures.
Departure day again at Fairford, highlights included the Tiger scheme F-16 and Tornado, Saudi C-130, and Bronco.
Another visit to RIAT, the world’s largest military airshow which included the debut and naming of the RAF’s newest aircraft, the Voyager.
Highlights included the Vulcan, Frecce Tricolori, Red Arrows, Rafale, Hunters in formation, role display from a pair of Tornados and the A-10 Thunderbolt II.
The TFC host another outstanding Flying Legends, with displays from Mustangs, Spitfires, Sea Furys and Red Bull’s Flying Bulls Corsair and P-38 Lightning.
Press launch for the Royal International Air Tattoo 2011 at RAF Fairford. Special guest was David Jason as a special ambassador for the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust.
Another year, another season kicking off with a traditional jaunt to the Shuttleworth Collection.
Displays included F-86 Sabre, Avro 504, Polikarpov, Sea Hurricane and Provost.
A small but characterful airfield in Northamptonshire. Whilst the flightline is compact, viewing is surprisingly good. The only detracting factor is the poor access and car parking.
Departures day at RIAT, in my view, is the best opportunity to view and photograph the aircraft that attended for static display.
