Airshow: Duxford Spring Air Display 2013

With a forecast of lovely warm sunshine and blue skies on a Bank Holiday weekend (almost a unheard of in the UK), there was no way I was going to miss the opportunity of attending an airshow.

Theme for the show was the 60th anniversary of the USAAF arriving at Duxford in 1943, and there was a special appearance by Col. Clarence “Bud” Anderson, who ended the war as a triple ace. ¬†Displays included the Red Arrows in formation with warbirds, P-51C Princess Elizabeth, P-47 Thunderbolt, P-40 Warhawk, Hunter.
